Riding for a Cause: Caracol at the Menlo Charity Horse Show

Published by Elizabeth Greenberg on 12th Aug 2016

The Menlo Circus Club is an exclusive, private club that opens to the public for the 6-days of this Menlo Charity Horse Show. This hunter/jumper show is unique in that it was founded to give back, and benefit, the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. It features a $40,000 Bentley Grand Prix on Saturday, and the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby that was won by John French and Center Court. If that’s not enough to entice you to visit, here’s a note from the show’s coordinator about tonight’s Gala,

“The Menlo Charity Horse Show's Gala Live Auction directly benefits the programs of Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Our Live Auction and Fund A Need, which take place during the Gala dinner service, feature once in a lifetime travel experiences, exquisite jewelry and exclusive adventures for Gala guests and friends. The festivities begin with the excitement of Show Jumping with The Oriental Carpet Ryman Memorial Speed - Take Your Own Line Jumper Class on the Grand Prix Field. Guests will enjoy a wine reception and silent auction at the conclusion of the class followed by an elegant dinner in the main dining room. A live auction will be held during dinner service of a specially prepared chef's menu and premium California wine pairings. The evening concludes with dancing to the sounds of soulful vocal harmonies of Pure Ecstasy.”

We’ve been having a ball here at the Menlo Charity Horse Show with our neighbor, artist Catherine Page. Lexi joined Catherine for this photo, donning our Gretchie Necklace, and admiring Catherine’s inspiration, Grey.

Our Caracol booth is located in the Menlo Circus Clubhouse on Vendor Row!
